You want to be treated with love? Go to Baires in Downtown Marion! Marcela the owner is a delight! Her food is seriously the best, just amazing. She gets to know you by name and knows what you like, if you go there often. The place is small, but has lots of charm. Depending on the weather you may get to eat outside. Also, you may get to meet one of the local artist or have a chat with the local officials while in there...especially, at breakfast time.

Great experience and the food was superb. It is a hidden gem in Marion. It reminds me of Turoff's years ago.

Only reason I gave five stars is because I can't give six! An institution of Marion!

What a wonderful surprise in downtown Marion, Ohio. I would recommend to anyone, great food (Patagonia omelette) is to die for.The service is friendly and efficient. WOW!

Awesome! It's been a long time since I've been able to eat here. I'm so happy that nothing has changed. Same amazing food and same great atmosphere. The only thing I am disappointed about is that it took me so long to stop back in. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back for lunch!

So, I drove up from Delaware to try Baires out as I heard it had good food. I would give it an okay, nothing special. I was struck at the much larger portion of the same dish I ordered that another customer, clearly a regular, was served than I was given. Not an inducement for me to go back.

I don't know why this was the first time I ever ate here but I feel like I was missing out my whole life! the staff were very accommodating and kind and personable and a tentative, which amazes me considering how busy they were! My glass never ran out and I had the prosciutto Gouda pita sandwich. This was the best prosciutto I've had since culinary school! The pita was perfect and paired very well with the fresh spinach and Gouda. I literally could only eat half of my sandwich! I will definitely be back for the atmosphere as much as the food!

Great salad.

Was looking forward to trying this restaurant based on the high ratings; afterwards, can not understand those ratings. Food we ordered was average at best. Maybe other menu items are better, but ours was left on the plates. And, we'll stick with other restaurants and leave Baires to everyone else.

Waited an hour for overpriced food. Learned my lesson the hard way.

Food over all was good. Not what I expected from the looks of the out side. Underwhelming to say the least. Honestly expected more of an authentic food rather than sandwiches

Food was ok. Need more variety

Tried them for lunch and keep going back. This is one of the best, freshest, most interesting places you can eat in this town. The homemade chips will seriously shock you, they're so good. Friendly staff, tremendous food, and portions are great.

Place is small. Yet great tasting food. The prices are reasonable. Waitress was nice with grate service. After order was placed,, it took about 10 minutes for the foo to start coming for a party of 6. Place was clean seats comfortable. I sean lawyer, doctor, policeman, collage youth, people just off the street dressed casual, and two milliary men. All enjoying the food and talking. This Sean reminds me of the old day back in the 60 when I was just a kid. Will have to take my wife here and tell my friends about it. Great place. Go eat and enjoy your self.

The food was fantastic! No matter what, order Marcela's chips.. they are incredible! The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. There are a lot of regulars, and they are friendly and welcoming. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

It was my first time eating there and I have to say the food is amazing plus the service was great. The place may be small but it's like heaven. I plan to eat there more often and I'm going to tell all my friends and co-workers about it cuz it's another hidden jewel here in Marion.

Everytime I go in, the food and service are excellent. Love the Italian sandwich. Tried the spicy empanada, may make a meal out of them the next time.

Today was the first visit here for my wife and I.We had breakfast and the food was really good and fresh but it was the service and the feeling that you just walked into a friend's house that stood out to me. We will be going here often from now on. I can't wait to try Friday dinner!

Awesome; this restaurant is a treasure. We have world class dining in Marion, Ohio; unbelievable. I have dined in some of the highest rated restaurants from New York to San Diego and the food at Baires ranks right there with the best.

First the food is amazing. Second they are very friendly. And it is a tidy little comfortable place.

Has the best omelette in town. Great customer service and ever flowing with coffee. Highly recommend!

We went in for desert. They make their own pies on site. I got a peach crumble and my wife got a Kentucky Derby. We thought they were delicious! The crust can make or break a pie and the crusts were perfect. Light and flaky. We recommend this place and will be going back for lunch and more DESERT!
